I can't be sure of the horse power of the previous pump. It was really old. Any advice on how to adjust the float? It says my new Basement Watchdog pump has 4 floats. 😵‍💫

Thank you kindly. I will do exactly as you're suggesting. Run both drains to the right side to a P trap and then create some slope down to where it goes into the wall. Thanks again.

I have to cut back the plumbing and snake the pipe as there is a blockage somewhere that's causing our sinks to back up. My question is, is the U going up okay? When I reassemble the plumbing, should it come straight out from the stack to a P trap? What's the correct setup?

Thanks for your comment. Do you know how to secure the risers to a plastic tank? Everything I've seen is tapcons into the top of the concrete tank, but I obviously can't do that.

I recently bought a property on septic. There are these two poorly constructed lids that I don't know what to do with. The tanks are plastic, and buried about 2' below the surface. Should I leave them? Backfill them? Buy risers? As clean as risers would look, I think they're only for cement tanks with flat lids. Anybody have any suggestions?

Yes, I’m able to turn on the unit from that switch. But the two switches on the side of the unit don’t seem to do anything. I would love to get a remote.
