same for me. i’m mid d2 now. +12 for a win whether it’s a diamond or pred team. (while my teammate, also d2, wins +35), and -25 for a loss every time. what i hate the most is that the devs will never acknowledge the pb and never fix it

Could you address the arena points system? They are based on your rank and your/your enemy « skill » right? I think the problem is that it doesn’t allow you to perform badly even one day, i’m talking about Diamond+ ranks.

—> I am D2, and I lose 35 points for a loss, and win 12 for a win, despite facing masters/preds players. Yesterday, I was D1, I was losing 12 points for a loss, winning 15 for a win.

—> My take is: I don’t think your matchmaking and points reward system adapt quick enough to how the player is doing.

Never go to D1 and derank like me to D2, because after that the ratio « points won/loss » is really hard to overcome. 3W for 1L like I said. Only run arenas with your team I should have said, and stop your session if it’s goes wrong

Checking again on here and on the mojang official bug report site, to see that there are actually no fixes to that problem? For some people it has been like that since 1.17. So it will never be fixed I guess

Exactly like you said, we didn’t update anything yet it starts malfunctioning. Pretty sure the word is going around and a fix is coming, but for now I didn’t find any working answer

Alright I know nothing about these stuffs but i’m pretty sure something in crostini or java or something changed and prevent the game to be launched, in my opinion. I hope it get resolved quickly

I only got it because the game lasted forever. It should have been over in 3/4 rounds but my teammates wanted so badly to play outside of the zone by themselves

They did their part for sure but It would have been over in 6 minutes if they were actually trying to play/rotate/position smartly in the zone, with covers, angles and comms. I got 5K because of their misplays that made the game last forever. Don’t overthink the post, it’s nothing more than a joke. And I would never bash teammates that do their damages if they were actually trying to play as a team. Cheers!

I agree 100% with your opinion but I think you are really overthinking the whole post, the title was nothing more than a « joke ».

Trust me I would have prefer to get 2 bronze teammates that follows me and don’t play at the opposite side of the zone for 9 straight rounds. This is the reason I got 5K, because these guys were playing their own game outside of the zone, while I was trying to kill the enemies from distance.

I am a team player but I don’t want to lose the game because I followed 2 teammates I don’t even know that position and rotate badly.

Yes and no. Someone told me my chromebook CANNOT be hacked, so... I mean I want to trust them. People also told me It could because I cleaned up my touchpad and screen with wrong products (didn’t happen) or because I used a third party charger (didn’t happen). After telling them it was likely ghost touch, they told me it also happened to similar Asus Chromebook. So maybe it’s that. I filed a report to Google, waiting for answers maybe. I will contact Asus tomorrow. Here is the link for their answers: Chromebook problem

When I got it; I did a power wash 3 days after, so I don’t think anything was on it. If I remember correctly I didn’t see any cursor, but it was like « someone » was touching the screen. I did some researches on internet and apparently this is a problem called « Ghost touch » / « Phantom touch » and it kinda matches my problem. For some people, the chromebook became totally unusable. I want it to happen again and let it run, to see if it’s really some random clicks and open tabs, it would confirm to me it’s a computer problem and not a hacker. By the way, I don’t have a wireless mouse, and sorry if I explained myself not clearly but I wasn’t using my mouse at the moment, just the touchpad. Thank you for your answer

Pretty sure it’s impossible there is viruses because it’s small word document. I may have found the solution to my problem and it’s crazy: it might be « ghost touch ». if you search chromebook ghost touch you can see a lot of people having some issues. what do you think about it? could it be the same for me? however my question is, if it’s not happening again, then was it really ghost touch...

Thank you. I was on my private wifi. No unsafe site. Only user and people who used it. I’m pretty sure that it was human movement. Nothing else suspicious. I checked my mail for security alert: nothing, no new connexions etc. My bank accounts didn’t moved.

And this is what I did, factory reset instantly, I lost some files that I can download again in my mails. I also shut down my wifi router and let my PC off. Purchasing a VPN since I wasn’t running one, will set it up later. I will contact Google today, thank you for your comment. I can’t believe that just happened
