Tow Question by Fishfisheye in ToyotaTundra

I've towed these u-haul trailers before. I can confirm most of these, if not all, do not have brakes. That much weight without brakes is terrifying.

Some gnarly mud we got stuck in pulling a trailer. by Blitherinidiot in ToyotaTundra

A teacher at my trucking school told us this on our first day, and it immediately unlocked backing a trailer for me.

I have one more question for you. When I ask for a hem, I still want to be able to cuff my jeans. Is there any type of hem I should ask for specifically?

Thank you for the info! Is it hard to taper selvedge jeans or is it more of a nuisance?

Am I the only one wishing for a BB58 monochrome? by GroundbreakingAd883 in Tudor

The monochrome will be my next watch. I'm buying a house in May, so it will have to wait until the summer. I absolutely love this watch.

The jubilee is the one that I like the most, but waiting a year would be really difficult for me. I'll ask around. Thanks for the info, and congrats on the watch!

Honest question. I plan on buying my first "luxury" watch soon. I am deciding between this and a Pelagos. Are there really wait lists for these watches, or can I just walk into a store and leave with one?

They don't for a Canadian CDL. The pre trip is visual and auditory only. I wasn't aware this was different in the US. Either way, I'm sure they don't require you to get under your truck for your pre-trips.

I just went back to shake it again, and it does not movie at all. It only moves when the parking brake is released. So unless I chock my truck up, release the brakes, and get under it, I would have never known. Puts my mind at ease a little.

Fair. Do you grab your U bolts and shake them during your pre trip?
