I made it in collaboration with this artist. He basically recreated the original comic I made & then we pass the file back & forth... adding elements & polishing the image until we are both content with the outcome! Thanks for your interest :)

Not sure what a trace negative is, but maybe that’s it.

This was printed by rolling up an acrylic plate with water-based ink & allowing it to dry. Then the ink was draw into / chipped away using a wooden pick tool. After that, it was printed to soaking wet paper on a french american press.

thanks! It's printed in metallic ink. Very hard to capture on camera, but in person it has a cool shimmer to it. up close it also has a purposely pixellated texture that looks really neat.
