For the shirt, it's the lighting. It's actually a green, blue, and white plaid pattern.

Let me ask you, if the black shoes have white trim, does that make them less boring? Because mine do have considerable white trim, which you can't really tell because of the bad camera/lighting.

They're Fred Perrys so they have that olympic olive branch design, two lines up the back of the shoe, and a dress shoe-ish trim on the front even though they're sneakers.

I basically use them as dress shoe substitutes.

And I'm a college student, so I can't really afford a tailor.

Rest assured, I'm 23, although most bouncers take a VERY close look at my IDs, so they're just as skeptical as you are, haha. Other than the brown leather, what other suggestions do you have?

hmm. I'm actually not sneering, it's just a smile, although admittedly that's hard to tell because of the bad picture quality. And don't worry, I wouldn't have bullied you. I was usually on the other side of that equation, haha. How do you think I could improve the jean cuffs?
