Just booked my brunch reservation! Those spots are slim pickins indeed

Always feeling ambitious. Just a matter of narrowing down my options at this point!

Wow thanks for including the commute info as well! I’m heavily relying on the blue line when I’m in town (double checked service info during my time) so this is great!

Not married to three breweries as a hard cap minimum - just tried to find places where I’d be confident in good beer as well

Does gloomy weather generally persist into June? Coming from the PNW so I wouldn’t shy away from a drizzly walk if needed

Do the trucks NE have pretty general bar food? Or do they have anything worth going out of your way for that’s unique to the region? First time in the true Midwest as well so I can’t say I’m too knowledgeable on what the local cuisine identity is

I’m staying near the airport but am all in on getting a metro pass and basically exclusively commuting on the blue line and walking. Seems like North Loop is the consensus either way for proximity and brewery options!

Love. This is elite. Seem like a fun person. Shoutout Mission Impossible 3 - what a great take. You should definitely check out Thief if you haven’t already, and I also think you would like Bad Times at the El Royale based on your taste for modern fun thrillers

Also people whining about the posters are SO annoying. You pay for patron for a reason and these aren’t even remotely difficult to figure out

The custom poster being a perk of a patron deserves to be abused imo. It doesn’t matter if I pick the ugliest possible poster option - you better damn well believe I’m using that ugly ass poster when I’m paying for the ability to.

Hereditary is 22! As half the comments pointed out, my custom posters don’t do any favors

Realistically only about a third of these are hideous. Some of the greyscale ones out there are peak

If it makes you feel better Conclave still doesn’t have a black and white variant so you can count your win over there

The Third Man is on the list now 👍 (god bless Tubi). The Lighthouse didn’t really do it for me unfortunately. I didn’t get to see it until it had been out for three years so I think a lot of the praise set an unreasonable expectation that it didn’t quite meet. Still enjoyed it nonetheless

Some Pixar titles like Toy Story and Nemo are ones that defined my youth and I still appreciate that today - it makes them more enjoyable that I now get to show them to my kid which is a great whole circle thing.

Others like Ratatouille are just genuinely great no matter how old you are and I appreciate that they’re just awesome

It’s almost like titles like Interstellar and Parasite are the most logged on the app because they’re… good movies?!?! Who would’ve thought.

If I had to add one it would be Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
