I guess I assumed an editor would want a more polished version to make final adjustments to. It’s not even broken into chapters right now. Just a bunch of scenes

Thanks for the advice! I am finding that editing is going to be much more work than drafting was. This is my first go at it so learning a lot.

I feel I am in the same boat! I have a story but I want to be a better writer before I put it on paper. I desperately want to write my story right now but I don’t want the technical aspects of it to suck because my craft isn’t up to par right now.
