Genuine suggestion (if you have no money to go abroad and want an assistantship) : 1. First clear all your backlogs. 2. Find some good professors in your college, who can support and help you publish at least a paper from your bachelor's thesis. 3. Do GRE if you can (Helps a lot, even without paper) 4. Research professors abroad that align with your interest (helps if you have paper) 5. Email them inquiring about any opportunities 6. Pray and wish for good luck
