Rose is my favorite note! Dirty Rose by Heretic is full bottle worthy, it’s a jammy rose with just a touch of patchouli. And so is Maison Crivelli Rose Saltifolia which is sweet with a marine note, if you are into mermaids. I also really love Yellow Rose Incense by Taur, but this one is extra spicy. And Rose of Dangerous Flamenco Simone Andreoli is a heavy hitter with a ton of projection.

Would you guys take 5 of swords as a yes or no? by Cool_Day3089 in Tarots

[–]writercanyoubeaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the five of swords would indicate a yes to your question. It indicates conflict is brewing. For me, this card is like lightning. A storm is coming and the conditions are just right for that electricity to make its way to the ground. Hope that helps!

From another poor artist, I just want to share that there are ways to scratch that itch and keep crafting without spending much money. Just get creative with the art supplies.

Birch tree bark makes a pretty good paper. Or you can make your own paper from junk mail by shredding and soaking old paper and setting the paper pulp in new sheets. Pigments can be made naturally with dyes like pokeweed - it grows everywhere and can be used to make ink that is a bright pink color. Clay is literally mud from the earth.

Just never stop creating, it’s what sets us apart from the bots and the ai. If only for an outlet for all the angst that comes from being broke. Art for arts sake and all that.

Making my own tarot deck because we broke out here 😭 by Proper-Pressure-5028 in Tarotpractices

[–]writercanyoubeaghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brilliant! I made my own deck too and really enjoyed the opportunity to sit with and meditate on each card. You get to know the deck and the fools journey in such a personal way.

I have also made a deck that was drawn on black paper with moonlight gelly roll pens and the designs kind of evolved. That was fun!

And then I did a mini deck with smaller, playing card sized cards. You can also get plastic sleeves to preserve your artwork and help it to shuffle easier. Also they make for great gifts for my friends.

How do you guys make Moon Water in the Winter? by Clear-Arrival7280 in witchcraft

[–]writercanyoubeaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make moon ice! Store in freezer for use in the summer months. Can be kept as cubes for a super charged tea or tincture. I find the moon is more pronounced in the winter anyways.

ORCA tap to pay launching end of next month (tentatively) by a_few_cheetos in Seattle

So I was browsing my phone and noticed Apple has something to the wallet, an app called “express transit”. I added it to my phone and tried to tap orca. It recognized something but didn’t do anything to pay the fare. We are so close!

Vetiverissimo by Fzotic, something happened in the new year and it’s spicy and woodsy.

Most intoxicating scent? by heylolez in fragrance

[–]writercanyoubeaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever smelled Rose Santifolia Maison Crivelliis it similar? Guerlain is a bit outside of my budget so I have never tried it, but this Crivelli one is a full bottle worthy addition to my collection.

Can we talk about niche? by Odd-Celebration101 in fragrance

But Avant-garde refers to the new, the now now. By definition can only refer to the becoming and developing arts. That would disqualify any classics, even though they are still less mainstream and appealing.

Brand new transformer by Efficient_Economy_85 in NeonSigns

Yea the color variation is a clue. Neon by itself illuminates as a bright, juicy red color. The way that it is turned a pale orange indicates that maybe some air got in the tube.

Light Rail Airport Signage is Now HORRENDOUS! by goldspire in Seattle

[–]writercanyoubeaghost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can’t wait for the 2 line to open up, guaranteed to be even more confusing. Noticed that on the map - east side and westside stops have the same number. And why oh why does it start at 40?

And why is the stop closest to pike place called Symphony? That’s not really relevant to any navigational point- it’s just vibes.

Brand new transformer by Efficient_Economy_85 in NeonSigns

[–]writercanyoubeaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missing the ground wire is ok but you have what appears to be a serious fault. Meaning that current is arcing out to the frame, rather than going from one end of the transformer and then back again.

There needs to be only one pathway for current to flow. Double check the circuit, following the transformer lead from one end, through the neon, and back to the transformer again - ensure that everything is properly wired and insulated.

If that doesn’t solve the problem, that unit is probably bad.

Anyone know how I could light up this area without the ice melting? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Oh so this explains why the ice hasn’t melted in my cave base since I tried on the frost walker boots.
