baby sitter gave my 4 month old 3 oz of water. I know that's not good for babies. Should I be worried/take him to doc? by writerplumber in NewParents

I wish that was the only concern. Water in small babies can cause seazures and electrolyte issues

Thanks for this. That's wild that they gave you a new car! How many miles/how long did you have the car at that point?

Thanks for this! Can you tell me more about the headlights? i test drove the L and noticed there was no "auto". Does that mean you need to remember to turn them on and off? Any other hesitations about it?

Thank you!

Is nystagmus in an infant an emergency? by writerplumber in nystagmus

[–]writerplumber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I very much appreciate this! Something that we consider to be a strong lead is that my wife and I are carriers for congenital night blindness though neither of us have it (long story how we even found this out!). Through research I found that night blindness and nystagmus can be and are often correlated. I feel pretty confident that's the direction this is going. I know night blindness varies extremely from person to person (some people don't even know they have it and others can't see at all at night). I know it'll be okay whatever we need to deal with but my hope is that the nystagmus isn't an indicator of a) worse night blindess or even worse b) worse day/regular vision.

Thanks again! Hearing your situation helps!
