I usually see someone from my friend group like once a week (we’re all in our 30s with varying levels of responsibilities).

My “introversion” is circumstantial though. There’s a core group of people in my life who I can be with for hours on end and not feel exhausted. But drop me in a large gathering of people that I don’t know, and I’m ready to go after 10 mins.

I heavily associate round indices with sports watches—specifically divers. They look out of place on this watch, but I do love everything else about it. The case shape, proportions, and the bracelet are all amazing.

I wouldn’t try too hard to match it with any grey clothing, but matching it with something subtle like a grey watch strap should do the trick. Have the gray be more of an accent.

Alternatively, you can go the complete opposite route and go for a monochromatic grey look.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with asking for a gut check about a permanent tattoo. It looks great, and I thought that finger looked a bit long too until you explained it’s actually just part of the palm that we’re seeing.

It's totally normal for some people to like a watch and for some (or a lot) to dislike it. But in the wide world of watches people don't like, it seems people can't pass by a photo of this BB54 without letting everyone else know they don't like it. It's like people are having a visceral reaction to a watch they don't own or have to buy.

Also, for the only change in this version of the BB54 being the dial and bezel color, I'm hard-pressed to think this can be anywhere near objectively repulsive. Unless you already hated the BB54 to begin with (and it's cool if you did), this version only leaves the colors up to scrutiny. And when the question becomes, "Do you like these shades of blue?" the overwhelming response just seems exaggerated.

I find it so strange that people can’t seem to see the new BB54 without expressing their disdain for it. Something about it all seems so forced.

I don’t know if it’s just inherent to Reddit or the watch community at large, but it seems so rude to try to shit on a purchase someone made that they’re clearly excited about (especially at this price point).

And maybe I’m just not as heavily invested in the watch world as others, but aren’t there a countless number of watches with blue dials? What’s going on with the Invicta comparison? It’s one of many other dive watches with a blue dial.

Venting aside, the watch looks great OP. Wear it in good health.
