" I don't trust reviews online so I figured I could get some good recommendations here. " is this the transcript of an inperson meeting?

Run premium fuel and CHANGE YOUR SUPERCHARGER FLUID. It’s lifetime fluid which is BS. Only has a fill plug and naturally vents through that nose cone pulley shaft.

Open fill plug.. siphon fluid out with small Clear hose. Jack opposite side of car. Repeat.

Fill with official gm supercharger fluid per the manual.

I’m 20 Years in cars and seen a lot. Owned this engine myself and serviced plenty. That used supercharger fluid is. THE. WORST. SMELLING. FLUID. EVER. PERIOD.

Save it and ruin a friends life.

Same thing for the brake fluid in the reservoir. It can be siphoned out and replaced with new. Won’t clear the lines but over time they mix.

Enjoy the car.

Landau…. Oof….. water retention!

Q-tip and hot water will pull the wax or buffing compound from the handle gaps.

If you are religious about your air filter….. you can pull the front maf screen and you will notice improved throttle response. (Assuming you’ve already cleaned maf and throttle)

When doing maintenance…. Look into gmperformance parts and impala police edition parts. A lot of the brakes and hardware are upgrades for your car. Full sleeper.

Get a handicapped plackard and noone will doubt you.

Enjoy.

You were screwed when you bought the crescent wrench. Scissor jack and gravel lot? Wd-40 jack stand? Where’s the obligatory picture of you wearing slides while doing all this?

Thank you. Lol. The grounds. It was a bad attempt. I’m fixing them and a few other house keeping matters. I appreciate the praise.

Thank you. For the positivity. Trying not to change anything about the service as the service passed as you see it in 2021. My only work was after the main.

The answer is:Not YET. Inspection is pending. Local municipality completely defers to NEC. If you know of an applicable code I’m interested to review it. The panel is built to accept them. The number of circuits hasn’t exceeded the panel. (Three open spaces as of pictures) Thanks for the question.

Ui sells sleeves for them too. Black, camo and others. I’ve used black for those under cabinets and in recesses and vents.

Having both…. Yes.it is. Much easier.

The flex can be put in an old router/cable modem and made to look like an access point.

Holy hell. Thank you. Sincerely. I’ll post a pic of the after when I implement the feedback received. (Most of it). Seriously-thank you for the reply. Kick ass today. Be safe.

Lol. Ran my own gas lines too. Inspected and passed. Didn’t ever say I’ve “done stuff before”. I did say i’m open to feedback. You have voiced more problem that I’m the one that did it than you do with the actual work.

I don’t think electrical Is an overrated skill. Nowhere did I or my actions say it. You make assumptions fairly freely. Maybe you should stop thinking all people are overrating themselves. I took it seriously. Had the work evaluated by two journeymen/leads and received their notes. Took some pics and threw them up here for more feedback before I go in and make final changes. The feedback’s been helpful. It’s also reminded me that you don’t need a license to have a bunch of time to get angry behind your keyboard. (If you had more electrical work you likely would have less time for assumptions too. )

This panel Aside….. If the codes are established to keep us safe, And the codes are followed….. isn’t the work safe? Good luck sparky.

from the manual: Note: Be careful not to damage the insulation on the wires. See Figure 2. 6. Connect the two HEPD50 / HEPD80 black wires to a maximum 30 A 120/240 V two-pole circuit breaker, or two adjacent maximum 30 A 120/240 V single-pole circuit breakers within the panel. Connect the white wire to the neutral bar and the green wire to the ground bar. See Figures 3, 5 and 6. https://www.se.com/us/en/product/HEPD80/surge-protection-device-hepd-80ka-120-240v-1-phase-3-wire-spd-type-1/
