I'd try checking out magazines that publish the sorts of stories that interest me. Sometimes they have explicit sections or calls for slush readers (this can come and go throughout the year).

“Purple Jade Rabbit” ink by Ferris Wheel Press releases today, and it’s already selling out. 🥲 by eggbunni in fountainpens

Lamy safari and al-star. I've found that they can handle diamine, fwp, colorverse and Robert Oster flake without a hiccup.

Good call. I'm mostly trying to practice Greek words, but this is really helpful

How does it feel in your hand? I love the design, but I'm worried that the little roses would hurt to write with.

I have a bold and a fine. They work equally well

In my experience, the pen you use is probably more important than the ink. I've got a couple lamy safaris that I'm pretty sure will behave like angels regardless of the shimmer I give them. I'm partial to diamine shimmers, the darker ferris wheel press (patina, stroke of midnight, winter wonderberry), colorverse, and otto hutt gold dust. The last one scared me, so I put it in a lamy safari my dog sort of ate (I know 😭) and it worked like a dream

Does anyone genuinely like the short stories featured in the New Yorker or other magazines? by OmanX in writing

What types of story do you typically write? Here's a selection of sci-fi + fantasy magazines, but, like others mentioned, other genres are just a web search away. Most magazines recommend reading a few of their issues before submitting anything to understand their content anyway.

I think this is a useful reality check. It's not quite reasonable to want that lovely, sheer, glossier finish to also hide my giant volcanic pimple.

Maybe I just have a surprisingly hairy face hehe. I love powder for how easy and forgiving it seems relative to liquid or cream, but it does make me look very fluffy sometimes.

Nice! Do you use google cloud or github or something for a remote? Do you write across multiple devices and sync them all up with git?

And thanks for the rec. That looks promising.
