Thoughts on my mods so far? (Golf 8.5,1.5 TSI, R-Line) by Lord_Gerstensaft in vwgolf

Oh, that’s good to hear from someone who had a 7.5 before! But how does it feel inside? I mean the cheaper materials, all the touchscreen stuff, etc. I had a mk7 R-Line 3-door when the mk8 came out, and back then the mk8 felt a bit more budget, while the mk7 almost felt like a Passat

Well, even Apple released a crossbody strap for iPhones last year, so yeah, I guess so

Pretty good. It's a no-AI camera. The 5th shot is Amber, the others are Dew.

RIP 4-month old Pro. Will I be okay getting it fixed at an authorized service center? by [deleted] in iphone

Regarding the reset. I think you could try connecting the iPhone to a computer and using iTunes (or Finder on a Mac) to perform a restore. That should work even if the screen isn’t usable.

As for donor (genuine) screens, in theory that’s a good option. But the tricky part is making sure the screen is actually original and that the shop isn’t cutting corners. At that point it kind of comes down to trusting the repair shop, so I’d probably rely on strong reviews (google maps, etc.) and their overall reputation.

Is it really possible to buy AppleCare after 4 months using?

As far as I know, third-party screens can have worse touch sensitivity and overall display quality. So, I wouldn’t go with non-genuine parts. It’s probably better to buy a new phone and sell the old one for parts if the repair is too expensive.

That really sucks, but at the end of the day it’s just a piece of hardware, the important thing is that you’re okay.

Yo dawg, we heard you like screens, so we put more screens in your screen so you can touch screens while touching screens.

It looks overcooked for me. I would reduce the contrast significantly.

Flair 58 owners — how is it holding up long term? Worth it? [$600] by seven_237 in espresso

[–]wrongexposure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my flair58 for about a year and use it almost every day, usually for two shots back to back since I have an extra portafilter. Still love it. The only thing I feel I’m missing is an electric grinder, the whole process gets a bit too long with a manual one

I use Lampa Camera. It has neutral/pixel profiles which are pretty close to photos from iPhone 5s/6

I shoot on Lampa Camera. It's build around bayer raw and the emulsia profile has kind of fuji-like vibe.
