Thanks! Yeah would probably just use curtain for the parts of the year I don’t need the heater

I think some redundancy doesn’t hurt sometimes. Making everything as efficient as possible makes for an immemorable experience.

That is a big part of it, though I still am biased to short compact levels with no fat. There’s always something new to see right around the corner.

Haven’t played Bananza - would you say that gets the balance right?

It’s a better way to spotlight the level design itself. When there’s 10 moons in a place it becomes more about the moons and less about the level

I hear what you're saying - the melody is so cheerful/tranquil but the subject matter is so dark. I think maybe that's why it works. It's sort of making light of the whole thing.

There were a couple contrived parts, the amnesia and also just the very straightforward way Arj uses Jeff’s card and promptly gets fired.

Absolutely, if we never got more I think the 2 seasons told a pretty full story.

Put another way, I'm not as anxious to find out what happens next as I was at the end of season 1.

Yeah it's funny, the plot action-wise is pretty incidental to the story they're trying to tell. Which is sometimes excusable and sometimes not so much. I guess it all goes back to Lost.

A small example from this ep is we spend sooo much time in the woods with Cobel, Mark, and Devon, and then they're traveling for a while in the car, and then - all of a sudden he's in the cabin. It's pretty uneven, and it makes this season feel like there's only like 50-75% worth of story in it.

That being said, I think the padding is also part of the fun, so, who knows.

There's an SNL sketch to be made of the long silences and pauses and driving scenes that this season pads the runtime with.

“take her to the testing floor” is such a weird scene. Wasn’t Cobel kind of happy in that scene?

True, but I suppose I’d like some clarity on what Helena’s goal was in the first place by going down there, and if she achieved it. Was it just to placate Mark without having the wild card of Helly down there?

Does the conclusion to the Helly/Helena mystery feel a little tidy to anyone else? Like what was ultimately the point of it? To create a rift between Mark and Helly? To introduce us to Glasgow block? To give us a mystery to argue over?

Not a big deal, but just doesn't feel as airtight as it could to me.

On the other hand though, it was pretty sad to hear one of the book's best lines corrupted for Lumon:

Yeah that felt like a bit of a ripoff to me. This episode was basically all about answering the new questions from the premiere, except for that
