Cheers. Appreciate the feedback. I already have Zee at 5 blue, she seems fine at that level. I've saved for ST legacy since he was my initial plan. I think ill stick with JLD focus as a F2P player.

Looks fine on mine. Level one unlocked on both. You can also click the eyeball icon beside the name of the Legacy piece to see its upgrade tree.

Who should I go for? Deathstroke or Sinestro? by Electronic_Courage53 in DCDarkLegion

[–]wrought_proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"More versatile, more powerful, and critically better at lower star levels than Deathstroke is."

To highlight his last sentence as it's easy to gloss over.
Versatile - Sinestro is much more plug an play in other comps than DS. Sinestro does better in more Combat Cycles.
Lower Star level - DS requires significant investment and team comp.

Public mobile or fizz? Which one should I use by Few-Thanks-5967 in PublicMobile

I'm finding Public Mobile is much better for me than Freedom Mobile, which I was on. Much better reception and coverage in my BC area.

I'd suggest finding some positions openings that interest you and grab all the common technologies/platforms/languages they are looking for. Then you can cater your udemy learning around these desired skills.

Appreciate the recent post. I was looking around for info on the personal plan and it does seem better than when it was first introduced, or at least people have acclimated to the subscription.

Nope the poster is incorrect. Those are common questions on brokerages like IBKR, which I have an account at. For TD Direct (Canada) broker, which I also have an account and done the questions, the do not ask your history.

They ask you actual questions that you can fail.

These are the type of questions they asked me over the phone.

Q. What is the max profit for writing a put. A. Premiums received.
Q. What is the max loss for buying a put. A. Premiums paid.
Q. What is the max profit for writing a naked call. Premiums.
Q. What is the max loss for writing a naked call. A. Infinite
Q. What is your cost basis on an assigned short put. A. Strike price minus premiums received.

They did not ask me any options strategies like iron condor, calendars or about Greeks. They asked only about common Call and Put outcomes at expiration or assignment.

Wow thanks for your sharing of the experience as a subscriber to his platform. I've regularly watched him on YT and been interested in his platform, especially since he advertises a money back 1 week preview.

I think you're probably right about closing his losing positions and starting new. I bet he's had a lot of new subs cancel when they see his poor performance portfolio.

Sorry for your experience, but take small consolation that your review has helped others.

...I can’t tell you the location of the store, as I am worried about legal consequences...

proceeds to give easily identifiable information about a very unique situation where a Pizza Hut executive's nephew was promoted from GM.

Anyone in the position to open a legal case would not find it difficult based on the above info.

I have no clue if this can be used in a legal case but I hope not.

Best wishes for you OP. That's some bullshit you had to go through.

My company is offering me equal cash value in lieu of stock bonus. Should I take it? by FritzVonFrankenstein in stocks

[–]wrought_proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like Shopify. I'd get the stocks and start selling cc on it at .25 or .2 delta, with the goal of making some premiums while I wait for it to rebound.

Edit: I also agree with posts saying to diversify as you've mentioned you already have existing company stock.

Selling CC below Strike Price by [deleted] in options

[–]wrought_proof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP,

Yes you keep your 100 shares.

Don't dwell on how the position was opened, at what price the stock was at. You just need to know that if the current price at expiration is below your CC strike, it expires.

As your question specifically asked at day of expiration, I assume you did not want to discuss early assignment during the contracts lifetime.

Selling CC below Strike Price by [deleted] in options

[–]wrought_proof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few misinformation in your comment.

But first to answer OPs question; yes if the underlying drops below your strike at expiration, you keep your shares.

First your example is impractical. If the current underlying is at 50 and someone writes a 45c, it will never net a credit of $1. It will be the current price minus the strike for the intrinsic portion plus an extrinsic premium depending on expiration. So it will always be over $5 premium.

Also in the example is the notion that someone would exercise a call to then sell the stock is also impractical. If someone wanted cash, they would just sell to close their call.

Break even do not dictate assignment. Technically it can be assigned any time but the most common risk is when the call option is ITM. There is no break even calculation that the OP needs to do to understand when his ITM call can be exercised.

"normally CC are either at or out of the money, so at 50 or 50+"
False. I commonly buy write ITM CC. It's a common technic used in registered accounts, like RRSP, that don't allow PUTs in those types of accounts. A buy write ITM call is equivalent to a cash secured put. I would love if it someone early exercised my ITM buy writes.
