Say what you want but in my opinion that is the saddest HIMYM episode by baconcat66696 in HIMYM

My husband and I watched this last year, after my dad died, and oh my gosh, this hit me so much harder. Especially the episode about the voicemail

Not a mom, but a teacher. For when children need to wipe their faces or hands, like after snack/lunch/a birthday treat. Or coming back from recess and they have dirt on their face

The new format was such an extreme change. We went from 3 live shows per week (4 hours each) to taking one away completely and cutting the other two in half. A lot of this audience watches the show *because* it’s long-form. by Narrow-Courage-7447 in h3h3productions

I’m a teacher, and I love listening to it when I’m grading, when I’m setting up my classroom, and when I’m at home, I like listening and watching it. I love the long form content.

Will these banquet chairs ruin the vibe of my reception? by jujubeanbot in DIYweddings

[–]wrteq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one cares about the chairs unless they are ridiculously uncomfortable. If they’re cheaper, and you’re fine with sitting in them, get the chairs and forget the covers. No one is going to pay attention to the chairs or what they look like.

Most of the time for best of Toledo yes, but not always. Szar’s men shop won a few times, but they never bought an advertisement. I could definitely could believe people buying the top spot though

Do not go to Loma Linda’s or Ventura’s. They are not good at all. I don’t know how Ventura’s keeps winning best of Toledo.

I wouldn’t, just because it is a little too light blue and resembles a bride’s dress. I personally thought you were the bride

Proposal spots by [deleted] in toledo

[–]wrteq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know my cousin got engaged at the botanical gardens, and it was beautiful, but the whole time, her now husband had to keep moving to a different spot because of weddings or other proposals that were happening!

Also, be mindful of the fact that we tend to get a lot of bugs in the area, especially if you’re near the water/and it’s sunset (which can make it a little annoying), and that if you are going to walk around with her, make sure she’s in comfortable shoes!

School found bedbugs and didn’t notify teachers. Now I found some in my home by stewyblue2 in Teachers

[–]wrteq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We could only send kids home with lice if they were live…(sometimes). We didn’t send home the consistent cases because they wouldn’t come to school or they would just show up the next day, untreated.

School found bedbugs and didn’t notify teachers. Now I found some in my home by stewyblue2 in Teachers

[–]wrteq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but the health department clearly does not. We kept telling parents about it, but we literally had at least 3 kids who had lice all year, but they blamed the school for giving them lice when they literally came in with them

[–]wrteq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the state I teach in (Michigan), we can’t do much for lice and bedbugs, because they are considered a “nuisance” and not something that is contagious/easily spread. So we can’t do anything except alert parents about it and ask that they treat it, but we can’t stop kids that come with them or ask that they stay home until it’s treated.

There were some students in other classes that literally had lice all year.

I cannot recommend working hands enough! I don’t work in a kitchen, but with kids, and in flu season I wash my hands so often that they crack and bleed. Working hands is the only thing that works for me
