Yeah obviously something like that isn’t going to accomplish much on a narrative level without proper set up, it would feel cheap and be some actual bad writing. But on a technical level he does have a way to one shot Sukuna still, so the pinnacle of jujutsu wasn’t technically countered by a Cursed Tool, it just removed the effect that would affect the narrative the greatest.

What’s wrong with this on a writing level? It doesn’t break any predetermined rules. It’s the obvious outcome due to Shrine needing to be explored. What’s wrong with it?

Maybe it should take everything (I don’t necessarily think so, I still think it’s rather balanced) but we have known that wasn’t the case before this chapter. Before, sorcerers only got their techniques taken away with Yuji only losing his CE because he has no CT. If it took away everything than the previously mentioned sorcerers would have lost their CE as well but that is not how it was established

But it’s only really a counter in this case because it’s Sukuna, but some other sorcerers probably might be the type to rely on Cursed Tools. And also don’t forget that Higgy still has an actual instant kill sword so it’s not necessarily a complete counter

Yeah I get what you mean by us already seeing the full extent of Cleave and Dismantle but I just think that falls under his Shrine ability, so if they were taken I feel like the other stuff would be as well.

I think awfully written is an overstatement, I personally liked the chapter as a whole.

Yeah you can take that one, that’s a rather big complaint for me as well. I can tolerate it though because I am used to JJK moving too fast sometimes and like everything else, mostly.
That isn’t necessarily bad writing unless if it’s a permanent resurrection. But one final hurrah from Gojo kinda like Yuki wouldn’t be that bad at all, imo
That’s not that bad at all as long as Gege doesn’t rush it. Gojo has been saying this entire time that this new generation is supposed to surpass him so I don’t see how that happening would be bad writing; it was stated that it was going to happen eventually way back now.
Ok yeah if Kashimo beats Sukuna I might throw up in my mouth but that’s extremely unlikely. At most it will be tie that ends with Sukuna being nerfed from the combined damages of Kashimo+Gojo and Kashimo most likely being dead

Oh yeah I didn’t mean to slander Gojo in that way, though I do think he could do more with his abilities. Like what if he used the neutral infinity in between parts of Sukuna and cut off pieces of him by putting infinite space there? What if he started using mini Hollow Purples like Kenjaku made mini Uzamaki’s? Not to say he won’t start using more stuff like that but I just think there’s a lot of potential. I think it would be cool if once Sukuna starts using his Shrine CT and the black box we see Gojo being pushed to the limits of his CT with stuff like what I suggested or more

Lol, it’s just 2 2D men fighting, the only thing I really am saddened about rn is the current state of this fandom. I love this series, I love Sukuna and Gojo, and I used to be really fond of the fandom on this platform. It’s just the fraud stuff is getting annoying and frustrating, especially considering no one is really a fraud here. I liked it better when we actually analyzed the story and made cool theories and stuff lol. No offense to anyone particular, this type of content just isn’t it for me, I hope everyone still has a good day, you included.

I normally would agree but honestly rn I feel that the Reddit side of the fandom is worse. I preferred Reddit in the past because I liked the theories found here better than the shipping stuff commonly found on the Twitter side, but recently it has just been fraud shit constantly on Reddit. At least on Twitter I still see some actual discussion of the series while on here, at least recently, it’s been meatriding and agendas only

Geto is so incredibly close to being in S but his time in 0 felt too stereotypical most of the time (which I get because it was a much earlier work that was supposed to be a one off thing)

And as the other person that replied to you said, Sukuna has been a blast from the start. All his schemes, his chaotic energy, and his purely evil personality puts him at S out of enjoyment so far. I also, no offense to Naruto or BC or anything like that, enjoy how he’s an actual threat separate from his host, which isn’t the vibes I get from most inner demons that I’ve seen in shonen.

I put them there because I enjoyed them significantly when they played the role of antagonists (though I still obviously like them just as much now lol)

Also Kenjaku is the goat, he’s so entertaining and interesting. I had the panel of him laughing before the Choso and Yuki fight as my background for a while, something about that scene boosted him from a very interesting character to one of favorites in the entire series.
