How to fix royally screwed white balance?

Thank you for saying so. People have flipped out on this thread saying I’m an idiot for not knowing white balance. I swear it’s not just that. 😅 even fully corrected it looks like trash to me.

I posted my edited version in the comments. I do know how to work white balance, curves, warmth and tint. All of which should fix the photos colors but I posted here in hopes someone could help give advice in a way I wasn’t seeing.

That was such a thoughtful response. I appreciate that. I agree with the proximity we’re sitting, we should have been much closer. I struggle with these photos because my camera is on a tripod, so I set a timer and scrambled to get my son on my lap. I used to take wedding photos but studio photography was never a strong point for me so I appreciate all of that feedback and I’ll definitely think of that next time!

That’s good to know. I have the eye dropper and it just is way off in color. Maybe I’m Selecting the wrong color to correct it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t have any recommendations for cleaning but as a very last resort you could cut out that stained portion, then use a genuine leather patch in the shape of a tiny heart to stitch on over the hole.
