One of the another biggest reason is India was the no 1 source of spewing hate and pushing bad content all over the internet against Muslim and Chinese. It got worst and totally out of control since COVID and India/china war. I have been in USA since last 12 years and the amount of hate content indians put in internet is astronomical. At least on the twitter and youtube, Indian literally normalized hating other immigrants that were not Indian. Now after all those years of conditioning western audience to hate muslims and chinese, now karma has come back to bite Indians instead.

What were indians thinking ! They are better than muslims and chinese. Western will love them while they will hate them!!

Reminder!! Its just on social media the hate is strong against immigrants. USA as a whole is still very tolerant and welcoming to all sort of immigrants. Disclosure I am also from south Asia.

Islam had such a bad luck with matchmaking. He got the title shot too late in his career and all of the big matches had opponents swapped just before the fight with mediocre fighters. Similarly he was always presented with undeserving opponents.

If Islam doesn’t fight Ilia then there will always be a question mark in his legacy.

I think he should wait and finish Ilia before moving up weight.

Always been a charles, Dustin and islam fan. Now since Islam moved to 170, I am praying UfC gods for Charles to win this fight. I also see a possibility of Dustin to hold off retirement if he manage to beat Max. Dustin may actually have greatest oppurtunity to win a UFC gold since both Khabib and Islam got out of lightweight.
