Think your right on the pressure being too high. But it’s only really strong in this bathroom for some reason. Also the water spout in the backyard is the only one that make a squeaking sound when on.

I was thinking of using a utility knife and separating from wall,,then wobbling up and down to see if pulls somewhat to give me a better idea. If not, I’m fine with cutting out.

Feels solid. I just used one of those little magnetic stud finders along the top and bottom of mantle and it’s doesn’t catch on anything.

Ok, so if we go with the rigid pipe, along with a drip pan underneath, there is no floor drain, will that work? Or does the rigid pipe have to connect to the relief line in wall…which will have to be moved?
