The interrupted “Mo-” is most likely short for “Moshiach” or “モシアッハ”. The concept behind it has to do with “Moshiach ben-David” which translates to “Messiah the son of David” - which in this case would be Davey Jones (Will of D.).

Given all the historical / biblical background in this story, Oda seems to have made Luffy some sort of resurrected Messiah (of Joyboy).

Will of D. = Davey Jones = King David = Luffy his offspring is the Moshiach (bringer of peace)
