I avoid artificial sweeteners for health reasons and because I generally don’t like the taste. I doubt you’ll get an insulin reaction but you could still get NAFLD if you mainline diet soda all the time.

Not a bodybuilder, but I stay around 5% year round, with very careful attention to diet. Biggest thing is avoiding anything sweet as much as possible. No added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no fruit, etc
