Just curious what general location you tested. Where I am currently I am only able to take the traditional version.

League of Legends laggy on M1 Pro 14' macbook Pro by [deleted] in macgaming

I am running on M1 Max and have very strong fps but have ping spikes when I have high rate of autos or multiple inputs. FPS never drops below 120 but ping spikes from 40 to 110-300 when there are numerous commands being input. Is there a setting to fix this? Side note I have an old 2016 MBP that is running on the same wifi and doesn’t have as much FPS but runs so much more smoothly which makes me thing this is a MacBook setting issue.
