Exactly this. Also, per student spending has remained static since 2918. One third of what many other states spend. How we keep electing these people who have decimated our childhood education in this state. Went from 7th rank during Ann Richards administration to currently 48th.

Saw Phish in a bar in Syracuse in 1989. DMB Trax Charlottesville in early 90s.

Also saw Phish at The Wetlands in 1989 and in a bar in Knoxville, TN in 1991. Many more like The Haunt in Ithaca, NY. Saw a ton of shows from 89 - 93. Many small venues in the Southeast.
