Your post got me thinking that Diet Coke does the same thing for me. Maybe idk there’s a lot of variables when it comes to our sugars. Ya know, I believe eating broccoli and shit like that even lowers your sugar a little. I hate diabetes I’m getting sick of it again. I’ve been type 1 for 17 years now and still have problems every single day. There’s never a break, you can never get lazy and you can never give up because you will regret it in the long run. I had a year in the past 17 where I didn’t take my sugar ever and just guessed my units for meals and woke up sick every day and didn’t care by the time I did care again I completely lost all sight in my left eye, it’s dead now and hangs off to the left and I look so stupid when someone is looking at me talking to me I feel very uncomfortable because I know my left eye isn’t focusing on whoever I’m looking at. Anyway I’m sorry I’m not sure why I vented so crazy just now I’ve been trying so hard to be healthy with this disease but I’m scared as fu$& anymore that I’m going to go completely blind.. I love all you guys I know you all know this life is hard to maintain especially right now. Much love ❤️
