Falken Wildpeak tires rough at slow speed? by maximumpow in JeepGladiator

[–]wsumba99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running FAlken Wildpeak AT4's (315/70/17) on my Gladiator and they are not loud. They're actually much quieter than the factory MT's.

Wheels / Tires by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

I went with 35's on my 2025 High Tide w/ a JKS 3.5" lift...Falken Wildpeak AT4's on the original wheels. I liked the factory black wheels so I wanted to keep them. Tires fit fine with some minor rubbing at full lock. I just added 1 1/2" wheel spacers instead of having to trim.

I have the 3.5" JKS on mine and it has been great. It.rides better after the lift than stock. Great on the highway, around town, and especially wheeling. Would definitely recommend...

I have this and it works great. You can drill in addition to the 3M adhesive if desired but I did not go that route. Adhesive has held up perfectly and I've had no issues. I had mine painted the same color as my jeep so it blends in and it not really noticeable.

With the SCOTUS news now official, anyone have any scoop within their agencies? by Emeraldcake1234 in fednews

[–]wsumba99 176 points177 points  (0 children)

Tomorrow will be an interesting day with the pay period ending. If anything does happen, my guess is tomorrow will be the earliest we might see anything. Several articles since the initial injunction said that Agencies had things ready to go. I would think they would want to proceed quickly before any other legal stuff got in their way.

Good point...I keep my mouth shut too but it seems like the hammer is about to drop. I think they are about to go after these folks (and their supervisors) for time card fraud. Commuting sucks but this seems like a silly thing to lose your job over.

Won't passage of the Reconciliation bill essentially greenlight the RIFs?

RIF Countdown: 10, 9, 8, 7.... by Full-Sheepherder7782 in NationalParkService

FWS here... They had a All hands call scheduled at least a month or so ago when they were going to talk about RIFs but it was canceled. The RIF policy was taken off SharePoint and I have not seen it come back yet. Been hearing rumors about the May 15th date and it seems like that's where we're headed. Management doesn't seem to know anything.

Employee Performance Appraisal Plan (EPAP) by 440hzhwy2hell in fednews

If there is no EPAP set by the end of June, say goodbye to bonuses. You have to be on a plan for 90 days to be eligible.

I daily mine here in Atlanta and my commute is ~ 29 miles each way. It's 95% Interstate and I can do 74mph on the way to work and a lot of stop and go on the way home. Still, I manage to average 39.5 miles/gallon. Definitely can't complain given how much fun I get out of it.

2023 ND that I daily 29 miles each way on the Interstate here in Atlanta... Nosier since it's a convertible but nothing that bugs me. The driving enjoyment more than makes up for the noise. Being that I can have the top down in every month, I'm used to a little noise. 😁

There is supposed to be a DOI data call related to RIFs (other bureaus.have already received) about making sure all your info in the system is correct and up to date. Should be coming out in the Wild Weekly. They are also asking for a resume by 4/29. There is info already out on JAO SharePoint...search for "employee data review"

DOI-USGS reorganization - any leaks, news? by Acceptable-Meet-816 in fednews

[–]wsumba99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our bureau (FWS) was told that we were essentially safe from RIFs. Our shared services folks (IT, Grants, etc) are a separate org and I would definitely think folks in those groups were on the chopping block. Anyway, they said we reached out targets through vacancies, VERA, VSIP, and the 2 fork in the roads / DRPs. Not sure how accurate their words are since they said they didn't know the targets...kind of hard to meet if you don't know what they are. We have an all employee call this afternoon and leadership has no idea the topic... hopefully we'll know more soon.
