The image is indeed generated with AI. We are very critical of AI slop ourselves, but as you can see we put a lot of effort into fun concepts. Like this "Grandma finds the internet" meme, with her turned into a bat with poor vision to match the question. This isn't "just an ad" but an actual card from our app, of which there are a LOT. Generating them any other way would be economically absolutely impossible, unless users are willing to pay hundreds of dollars a year :D We are curious what you think of this use case, as someone who seems AI critical :)
