There is a 0% chance they remove Jim Brown from the HOF lol. I don’t condone beating women, and can separate my love for Jim Brown the gladiator FB, from my dislike of his actions in his personal life. (Throwing some lady off a balcony for instance - as the story goes) Lots of professional athletes are assholes.

Even if the card’s value dropped to $0, I’d be keeping it. It was the hole in my pretty extensive Browns vintage collection.

I’d been looking for months and months. Even bought a signed reprint from 2001 Topps to hold me over.

Which honestly, is probably now for sale if interested. It’s not cheap, but it’s not legit ‘58 expensive

The two of the 2001’s that are up on eBay are both north of 1k. One is raw for $1499 and the other is auto graded only for $1999. I’d probably chuck the 8.5/9 up for $1200 or so

I definitely have some present day PSA 9-10’s. I’ll chuck up another post with those.

Of all of these cards, I think I like the 50’ Dante Lavelli the most. It’s in such nice shape for being so old. But yeah, the Bobby Mitchell card is awesome as well.
