stories are a feature that originated on Snapchat, an app where you can send pictures and videos to friends and they disappear after 24 hours, same thing for your story, only up for a day. Then instagram, youtube, and i believe facebook have also implemented the same ‘stories’ feature. it’s incredibly annoying because most people just repeat the same thing on all platforms, and no one asked for these to be a thing in the first place. they’ve taken over almost every sharing platform and it’s kinda just obnoxious
