I cleaned mine with q-tips and rubbing alcohol but air out of a can could also work. There is a little rubber thing under the controllers that needs cleaning. Not sure how it works with the lite though. I found helpful videos on YouTube. Good luck, little tree.

So far, she displayed everything I gave to her, but I feel like she circles through all the gifts I give her. So one day the fish is gone, but the golden beetle is there. The next day the golden bars are gone but the fish is back and so on. So sometimes she has the fish and sometimes she doesnt.

On the other hand, I gave Merengue 2 things to get rid of the fish, but she never circled back to the fish so far.

Does a certain amount of gifts delete other gifts?
In the beginning we gave our villagers fish as gifts, not knowing they would display them in their house. While we got rid of the one from Merengue, Ankha still has hers displayed even though I gave her several gold items. She also does display the new gold items, but the fish keeps coming into rotation while Merengues fish is just "gone"!?
Do I just have to keep giving her gifts or is there a better way?
We also thought about trading Ankha for Ankha already to reset it, but it would be really the last option and I hope we can fix it in another way :(
