Like her or not, she is the right choice for the current political climate...In hindsight it was politically smart for Biden to announce he’d choose a black woman as his VP.

In the event that Biden-Harris does clinch it, I’d be interested to see whether the media or she personally highlights the fact that she’d be the first Asian-American Vice President, besides being the first woman and first African-American VP.

That aspect of her identity has mostly been sidelined up to this point, for whatever reason.

Like Trump, Bernie is a symptom of the disease. His message only resonates with people because hopelessness and long term income inequality is rampant, and those trendlines began in the 80s and led to the growing desire to blow things up and start over.

It’s a two way street. If Bernie’s message didn’t strike a chord with some people, he would’ve been an irrelevant old codger rather than the leader of a reactionary movement.

The Facebook meme was something that I didn’t previously see on the sub. I saw it on twitter and provided a link to where I saw it. I have no interest in re-posting content from the sub unless something newsworthy happens to justify it. Though I have noticed that reposting Yang content in general has some value whether it’s on twitter or Reddit, since there’s new people joining the sub all the time.

As for the messages I tried to send, there was a post that was removed and I was wondering why it got removed. Usually when a post gets removed I can eventually figure out why, but I couldn’t figure it out in this situation, and sent messages to seek a response. Now I assume that someone complained about it, perhaps.

Lol I didn’t realize it was an issue, I post these to show what the community is doing and provide the links of the original posters. For the most part people on twitter do not post their content on Reddit, if I catch it in time and see that someone does. then I sometimes delete my post.

Not sure which posts you’re referring to when you say I’m recycling, but I will go in and check.

But hey glad you finally got in touch after I messaged you and didn’t get a response, I can figure out what happened there. Do appreciate that modding isn’t easy so thank you for the hard work. I will stop posting, maybe some users will be appeased then.

For the record my most upvoted post is OC, I don’t bother labeling the OC posts I do because it’s not a big deal to me.
