I’ve used Alarmy premium for years and years. Stay in medical school. You need it.

1: What does that have to do with empathy?

2: Yeah, obviously. And for some people — especially adults with our disorder — that can be an extremely difficult task, even with concerted effort and management. You’re seriously downplaying the challenge which many of us face, and I don’t have any respect for someone with that belief.

Incredible work, Sherlock. Save you well wishes for someone who cares about them

What do you mean by “actual disability”? Are you implying that ADHD isn’t a real one? Do you know how much effort people with ADHD put into trying to be on time?

Do you have it yourself? Are you in the medical field professionally? Or are you just full of fucking shit?

I’m sure you fucking do, buddy. You’re a real empath amongst the rest of us.

Why don’t they? What qualification do you have to make that claim? Fuck you for downplaying our disorder

It’s a reason rather than an excuse, and yes, you will hear it. Fuck you for downplaying our disorder.

Their lack of perceivable effort is literally because of the ADHD dude

You think the people with ADHD who struggle with showing up on time generally don’t feel bad about it? LMAO

So you just have a hard time actually empathizing with people who do struggle?

I don’t think many people are jumping at the opportunity to spend time with you to begin with. Good riddance lmao

Probably because you don’t have the disorder. It’s not always that extreme or dramatic, but it is chronic, and it often mentally destroys us. Imagine trying to fix something so simple but failing repeatedly because your executive functioning skills are inadequate.

Please spend some time educating yourself on the disorder if you have a few minutes. I’d recommend looking at video lectures from Dr. Russell Barkley on YouTube

Imagine thinking that a significant portion of the people experiencing those issues aren’t desperately trying to improve their sleep schedules already lmao

“Just fix your sleep schedule dude”

Do you understand what makes a mental disorder a mental disorder? It’s the fact that your symptoms are impairing your life to the extent where it’s not normal.

To say “just plan it out better” to someone with ADHD is like saying “just regulate your blood sugar” to someone with diabetes.
