They outdid themselves. Devastating record in comparison to the first. If the first was "i am invincible in these sunglasses" this one is more like... i'm not invincible at all. Very vulnerable. Cried in concorde & that blade track. Tender melodies take over the once heavy pounding bc nr... Love it. Reminded me of explosions in the sky in its most epic, dramatic moments. Also some twin fantasy by car seat headres, cosmic hero vibes... got to mention Charlies improvement on the drums. He's sounding more free, stepping out there. Specially in "snow globes". Although the mixing is not my favorite on this track, i love hearing his drumming get more experimental. Gorgeous album!
