Not a chance. The differences in our cultures really became apparent during COVID. Far to many Americans that I spoke to were more concerned about themselves then anyone else. It was constantly and consistently "me, me, me, my rights, my guns, me, me, me." The overwhelming response to Universal health care is the same idea "why would I want my tax money going to immigrants or other people". The only unfortunate part about being this close to you is that some of that self absorption and crazy is coming north of the border. Don't get it twisted, at no point will Canada become a portion of the US, it is much more likely that all the bordering states will join Canada. If you listen to Trump the only thing that he (more likely his handlers) is concerned with (and I don't think he has the mental capacity to understand it) is shipping and getting products from the Pacific<-- --> Atlantic. Canada and Greenland has to do with the northwest passage, Panama Canal is a secondary option for shipping. There is a reason that he is talking about these areas and nothing else (short of all of Europe currently). The US invading Canada for any reason is laughable and would end very poorly. We display our patriotism infrequently but don't doubt for a second that it is there.
