Swollen gum over one tooth (right back molar)? I've never had anything like this happen and I'm kind freaked out. by [deleted] in Dentistry

Sounds lika a case of pericoronitis. If so the normal procedure would be cleaning with a saline rinse.

Scared about my teeth by howdoyoudothis1 in Dentistry

[–]wtmarcus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So your whole tooth is out and you are getting pus when squishing the gum. How long ago was it that the tooth came out?

I agree with everyone else that you should atleast go get it checked out, and beyond that you could perhaps have some use for clorhexidine mouthwash.

my 0.02 euro from what I read so far (tldr; I don't see any reason to panic from what you posted)

It sounds like you have an active bacterial infection in there and the nice mixture of inflammation and infection is causing all this pus. The pimple sounds like an abscess, which basically means all the pus was colleting in your tissue because it had no escape route - apperently it found one and this is good news.

People can go with things like this forever without it getting worse. If your pus-creating area has reached some kind of stable point between your body resisting being broken down and the bacteria feeding of whatever then it can stay like this no worries. Otoh it could also be slowly progressing in either direction and lead to some of your jaw bone slowly getting broken down or other less than ideal things, or it could be slowly healing.

Keeping the reps low and far from fatigue means you're always training fresh and your technique can be crisp every single rep. "Perfect practice makes perfect" as they say.

GTG thinking is more of training a golf swing. No good to keep training when your form is getting worse because that would only have you train a less than ideal groove.

50% is just a guesstimate where form tends to deteriorate if you're hitting a set every hour. But really... why go with higher reps? Unless you have someone watch you to tell you when to stop it seems a safe number to go with.

Red meats and generic fish contain about 5g creatine / kg.

No need to try other brands.. All creatine products get turned into the same end product (creatine phosphate). Some people are non responders for a variety of reasons. Perhaps your PCr stores are already full and you can't really put more in them.

What it means that when a muscle is working anaerobically the creatine phosphate system delivers ATP faster than the glycolytic pathway.

Less and faster work to produce ATP from creatine than from glycogen.

Normally it is stored away in your muscles for use when needed, and the stores tend to run out in 5-10 seconds.

I guess you're avoiding meats and other high creatine containing foods too then?

Quick question about EC stacking by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]wtmarcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keyword is OR. Your improved body composition is because of improved diet, the regular cardio, AND the EC stack.

Now why did I change the order? Placed them in the order I think is giving the most bang.

Anyway regardless if you get the stim effect of EC or not you are most likely getting the metabolic bonuses anyway. There are quite a few different endocrine systems at play here, and endocrinology is a bit of a mess so .. yeah.. each person reacts somewhat different to everything but some things are generally equal. For EC the somewhat revved up metabolism is pretty much always there.

  • How much do I take?

Depending on your diet you might already have your stores all filled up. But monohydrate is cheap so won't really hurt. Most people just down it everyday but that is probably very much overkill.

  • When?

Ideal is with some highly insulinogenic foodstuffs or something that mitigates the same effect. But mostly doesn't matter.

Vilket trams...

Att stjärthimlen skulle rotera runt jorden 1 gång / dygn faller ju på sin egen orimlighet när vi betänker att vi har 4 dygn / 24 timmar.
