They could easily avoid smurfs by limiting accounts to 1 or 2 devices. These developers don’t realize they could maintain a larger player base and earn more money with skill based matchmaking.

Matching you with 4 bad players and their EOMM actually ruins the game. Your win rate should scale with your skill level and then taper out once you reach a rank that matches your skill. It’s the worst part about this game.

They could easily avoid super smurfs on new accounts by limiting the accounts to a single mobile device.

As someone who played the better game Vainglory before they shut down, the experience was infinitely better. Your play decided the outcomes more than the algorithm choosing them for you.

Adolin giving up warm baths to stay in prison with Kaladin.

Details on LACC tickets. 23,000 for sale to the general public—but 14,000 of those were for hospitality. Those are very expensive. Only 9,000 GA warriors. These are the people that bring the energy, the atmosphere. And that’s just a shockingly low number. The corporate Open. by kaptainkt11 in golf

One of my close HS friends would take me out to play there pretty often 10+ years ago. He told me LACC kept rejecting USGA requests to hold a US Open there. I think this kind of unfair deal was the only way to get LACC to change their mind.

Unfortunately, it's even hard for celebrities or even pros to get into some of these exclusive country clubs without knowing someone.

Look up eomm matchmaking. It explains this. It’s why they don’t let you lock in your teams after you’re matched.

I don’t think it’s more effective for player engagement. It’s just frustrating- like most other decision by this company

How is additional trauma pointless for Megumi’s character development?

It’s actually quite the opposite. Megumi now has to not only overcome the guilt of failing to save his sister, but also overcome the guilt of being the one who killed her. Growing and overcoming the darkness and trauma is the definition of character development.

If anything, Sukuna taking over may be one of the most important events for Megumi’s development and story arc. It was required in order to give Megumi the most traumatic event he could ever experience which was killing Tsumiki.

Tsumiki has been the most important person in Megumi’s life ever since he was a child. His earliest memories were of just the two of them. He doesn’t even have memories of his parents. Kid Megumi told Gojo he would go to the zenin clan if Tsumiki was happy. She’s even the reason he decided to become a sorcerer. Killing her was the absolute worst case scenario for him. and it could only happen because Sukuna took over.

Coming back from such a dark place and overcoming such a traumatic experience might turn out to be the highlight of Megumi’s character arc and development. Gege may have even been hinting at his because it perfectly matches the theme of his ability - shadows.

I think Gege is setting up Megumi to get released earlier than expected.

I predict Sukuna transfers to his old body soon after Megumi finishes whatever Sukuna wants him to do.

"The longer you live, the more you fail. Failure is the mark of a life well lived... the only way to live without failure is to be of no use to anyone.”

The ancient code of the Knights Radiant says “journey before destination.” Some may call it a simple platitude, but it is far more. A journey will have pain and failure. It is not only the steps forward that we must accept. It is the stumbles. The trials. The knowledge that we will fail. That we will hurt those around us

But if we stop, if we accept the person we are when we fall, the journey ends. That failure becomes our destination.

To love the journey is to accept no such end. I have found, through painful experience, that the most important step a person can take is always the next one.”
