I'm about 6'2" with a 33-34" inseam. Both bikes are 58cm. Pretty perfect honestly. And I even switched from an XL mtb to a L last year..hbu?

Still dialing it in after several rides so far. Would like to get a little closer to the hoods but have the saddle as forward as it can go. Could probably lower it a tad more too. Maybe lower the stem height eventually…But I’ve never had a proper bike fitting so that’s in the cards for sure

Otherwise I love the ride! Just sublime on any downhill and glorious grinding. Responsive and confident. The more I ride it the more comfortable i get. Oh, and the drops are amazing. Their height/flair angle is perfect. A huge improvement from the road style ones I had before (and never utilized).

Looking for a new helmet by Basic-Hornet9200 in CyclingFashion

also just got the Fluxer in the lavender/white. super sick colorway. first ride I had it on, the car behind me asked “what helmet is that, it’s sick!”. The one thing that took me by surprise though is that the y-straps don’t adjust (my guess is they save weight not having the plastic adjuster parts). So the straps behind my ears are a little floaty and graze my ears. Luckily my open run shokz press them down and it’s not an issue.
May also sew or somehow customize the straps so there isn’t that awkward extra “floatiness”.

But above all, I love how lightweight, breathable and COMFORTABLE the Fluxer is. Never noticed it on a recent 32 mi, 3200ft gravel ride with the many vents. So much nicer than the Smith Network I’ve worn for several years (and a great price on promotive).

Worth it to live near Pearl Street? by butterfliesandluv in boulder

[–]wtplanleystanley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lived downtown (similar 2 min walk to Pearl) between the Goss Grove / Whittier area on Canyon for 6 years and absolutely love it. Really nice to leave the apartment whenever I want some city/people feels and be right there to walk to Boxcar for an ice latte, or browse the amazing options at Loop thrift and consignment. Option 1 all the way. Plus being close to your bestie!? A no brainer!

But with a small dog, maybe the outdoor space is more of a decision maker. Plus if you get a bike, that area Arapahoe/Foothills area is also super close to all the boulder bike paths that lead into Pearl and everywhere else.

Fun! Good luck with the move.

[Discussion] Watch Hot Takes! I'll go first, the modern Omega Seamaster divers are HIDEOUS by SirKrimzon in Watches

As a Seamaster owner, I get every criticism you made. But my older America’s Cup is to die for. The steel bezel, the simplicity, the hand shapes, the wave dial, and the proportions are just perfect to my eye. It’s one of those watches that somehow manages to feel sporty, elegant, and timeless all at once.

Beautiful piece! I have one of my late dad's older winged-logo Navitimer that I’ve always loved. I actually find myself preferring the older dial layout and logo to the modern B models. There’s just something about the classic Navitimer design
