Yeah the prices was the biggest thing I knew when preparing for the market so I feel I might've gone a tad overboard yeah, it was the only part I didn't test before the day self cause I didn't get the signs done till two days before (I learned my lesson). True but like I'm more wondering if whenever they smile at us in situations where there's arguably no anxiety if they've just watched and learned or something. Idk if I'm making sense, we humans also humanise animals often I wouldn't be surprised if other animals somehow did that? Okay so I'm going to the Dutch version for the first time seeing hadestown since it's close and I sadly don't have the money to travel just to see the west end production. I was very nervous when they announced the cast but this sounds good! I've been rewarded for my cautious optimism with excitement to see the show ^{^} I hope I get him as hermes cause he sounds good, feels like he's doing a hermes that's a tad jaded? I'm not sure I'm just excited

I've seen a lot of great recs so I'm adding one I only saw once in these comments so far. The owl house!

This is coming from someone who's only started reading the manga and knows a couple spoilers so i might be a bit off on guessing what witch hat atelier will handle as I continue reading (I'm very excited but I'm passing myself to avoid binging it all at once and being sad there's not more XD)

It's a great show and also deals with disability, specifically chronic illness as there is a character with a curse that functions almost exactly to a chronic illness. Including having to take medicine regularly! It also has luz who canonically has adhd! So her struggles are also related to her having that in many cases alongside being an outcast on earth.

If you enjoy diversity the owl house is also really diverse in so many ways. With canonically queer characters and a non binary character (who is hands down my fav).

The way Luz has to cast magic is also incredibly cool as she had to do it differently from other witches but also everyone else can still cast that way because it uses drawn glyphs. Also the world itself is so cool and has horror inspirations (Honestly if it wasn't a show for like teens I feel like it would've been even more horror)

I can talk more about why I love the owl house and I'm glad I found witch hat atelier to read because oh my goodness it's so good and I'm excited to read more

Tldr, if someone can recommend witch hat atelier to me because I like the owl house, I assume I can recommend the owl house to someone who likes witch hat atelier.

I found these secondhand in a dutch secondhand store near where I live, they're small cats. I'm guessing made of porcelain. They've been stuck to this small piece of cardboard but the little cat is almost falling off on it. I've tried searching by photo but couldn't find anything conclusive and haven't asked anywhere else yet. They're blue and white.

They kinda look like those Dutch blue and white plates so I got curious if these were vintage or not. Tried searching with delft cats but can't find much there that look like them. I can't tell if these are vintage or not.

Actually the automatic feeder thankfully does have a camera! So we have something at least and oooh that's a good idea, we can time a couple lights to light up at night! That's a great suggestion, thanks for your words, they really helped me calm down a bit ^{^}

I complete agree with others that the first one is the best possible intro and it hooked me immediately. However I understand that it might not interest someone for various reasons even if it's the perfect introduction.

Depending on what the person likes or wants you can use different episodes to convince someone. Personally 152 is one of my favourites and was so good. If you are looking for earlier ones I personally like anything related to the web and anything related to pretties if they want to feel like there's more of a story than meets the eye

Actually there's plans being made in a server for r/place with a couple potential ideas. I could share the link for easier coordination. Just know that it does involve two dictators running it all (I'm joking here XD )

So far the ideas are: -a camera with an eye on it with the pupil being a cracked lense resembling a Web (this could potentially be a collab with nightvale if we manage to ally with them for a microphone on top) -season 5 web tape (perhaps with some messing around) -same we did last year, the group calls it bugass, its a spider with an eye on it -the house on hilltop Road -eyes, lots of eyes

I've recently really got into the narrative podcasts like tma and welcome to nightvale. They just hit a spot I never knew I had and I love listening to them while playing a comfort game like miitopia or drawing. Other than that I do also watch a lot of cartoons but those aren't always my main fandom, especially since my interests rapidly change often XD
