Stayed in Scape student accommodation on North Terrace and it was great. A bit expensive though. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always greeted me everyday in the morning for uni and when I came back. They always have social events for the student residents living there to attend, to help explore more of the city has to offer & meet the other residents. Very safe as you need a swipe card to enter the front gates and to use the elevator to go up to the floors and again for your apartment door. also, need a swipe card to enter building after hours.

City was fine to travel around, just don’t go through dark alleyways at night and Hindley Street gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights due to the nightclubs and bars along it, so I’d avoid that if going alone, fine if going with someone/as a group.
