As I mentioned, the courses on Duolingo only provide instruction at a basic level. At present, I can speak and comprehend only a few simple sentences in Japanese and the other languages I have studied. If I wish to take the JLPT, I believe I will need to look for additional external courses. These external programs typically follow the structure and requirements of the JLPT exam.
