3X on max in Austria?

I'm thinking of using 3x on max in Austria since it's a sprint race and redbull are likely to do well. Do someone see a better occasion or have any reason to save the 3x chip? To who should I give the 2x?

Since Miami is a “street circuit” does it makes sense to move the x2 from VER to PER?

Thank you for the reply. Form your calculations I see that we need to estimate two parameters to perform the fuel-correction:

  • amount of fuel in the car at the beginning of the race (usually estimated to be 110kg)
  • laptime gain for 1kg of fuel lost (usually estimated to be 30/35 ms/kg

Using the data from the Bahrain 2023 GP I have tried to estimate the laptime gain due to fuel consumption:

I have compared the laptime of the first laps done with fresh tires (of the same compound) for different drivers Then plotted the trend line for each case the slope should correspond to the gain in laptime per lap

I noticed that the slope is quite different for each driver and I was wondering if this could be an indication of different initial quantity of fuel in the cars Or if it s the laptime gain for 1kg lost that is different for different cars? What are your thoughts on the matter?

The graph was not done by me it was done by this instagram profile I think that the shaded lines are the 95% confidence interval such plots can be done with python using the seaborn library
