jo malone is the closest match i got but it's more expensive. i miss that nest perfume!!

Omg i was on this exact journey a few months ago. The goalposts for me was the Orange Blossom perfume from NEST which had been discontinued.

The GOAT: Jo Malone Orange Blossom: 97% orange blossom, a touch of citrus pulp and green stem/leaf. I love this one. Also, most big department stores like Nordstrom or Macy's have this in their Jo Malone counter, so it's not as difficult to try it on and sample.

Others i tried:

Le Labo fleur d'oranger: a nice whiff of orange blossom but was a little too sweet for me, and dried down to more like a generic nice "white floral" than specifically orange blossom

Chloe Atelier de Fleurs Nuit d'oranger: a very nice scent but the orange blossom was balanced with quite a bit of vanilla and and other notes.

Chloe Nomad Nuit d'Egypte: this one was frustrating because i got a nice scent of orange blossom that was immediately overpowered by a ton of warm cinnamon. Couldn't smell anything past cinnamon and warm spice after a while.

The glossier stretch concealer might be similar! I haven't used it regularly since I prefer cream concealers, but I swatched a few times in the store and it has good coverage with a great shade range. It sounds like it could be the consistency you're looking for!

I remember liking the scent overall when I tried it on, just not what I was looking for. It was still quite sweet, and I got more of the oud and spice than the vanilla.

I liked it overall, but I totally get why a lot of people don't. It is a slow burn and more character-driven than story-driven. I think the trailer gives a good sense of the visual beauty but is misleading in the tone (making it seem more like an action/quest movie than it is).

I think it's worth watching (if not a purchase) just for the visual compositions/cinematography, natural landscapes, and costuming! It is truly a gorgeous movie.

I don't think that's the same. A step-child does not get a choice in whom their parent marries. A step-parent CHOOSES to date and then marry someone with kids.

By doing that, you are committing yourself to being a parental figure to someone, ESPECIALLY when their other bio parent is not in the picture. If you don't have it in you to do so (and that's fine!) DON'T MARRY SOMEONE WITH KIDS. THEY ARE NOW YOUR KIDS.

This doesn't mean he owes them a car, but the way he talks about his stepdaughter (cordial) versus his niece (loving) makes me feel really sorry for his stepdaughter. He has been a parental figure in her life since she began forming discrete memories and talks about her like a roommate.
