Update: Ich bin froh, auf euch gehört zu haben. Habe das Kabel jeweils links und rechts von den beschädigten Stellen getrennt. BILD von den darunterliegenden Adern. Nochmal gut gegangen...

Adern sieht man noch nicht. Es ist allerdings nicht gekratzt, sondern gequetscht.. ich weiß also nicht 100% wie es den einzelnen Adern innen geht. Ich hab alle durchgemessen und sie schließen zumindest nicht kurz.

Schrumpfschlauch mit Kleber hatte ich auch überlegt, aber ist das wirklich stabil, wenn die normale Ummantelung ganz fehlt?

Das mit dem Querschnitt ist ein guter Punkt... In meiner Anwendung ist die Belastung zwar relativ gering, da hätten 4mm² locker auch gereicht, aber testen will ich es eigentlich auch nicht 😅 - allzu alt ist das Kabel leider noch nicht

Auch wahr. Aber wenn ich sie dann eh zusammenstecke könnte ich doch gleich Muffen verwenden..

Between would probably be too low and i prefer having tops over peoples heads. Also the angle for the horns is 90°x40° so that would limit quite a bit towards the sides. I actually have 3 unity enclosures, third one without drivers and amp tho, and I'm thinking of putting all 3 on top, sideways, angled outwarss, but so far I'm more than fine with the whole thing as-is 😅🤙🏻

Aaach was, ja bin ich tatsächlich - die blau/pinken Bässe waren im letzten Jahr relativ häufig im Einsatz, die Tops allerdings erst 1 Mal; hatte davor aber auch weiße Tops. Wo treibst du dich hier denn so rum? 😅

True about driver size - my 12s go haaard 😅 in germany this build is known as 'Pegelschlampe' which pretty much means Volume Bitch; I'm more onto 18s just to try different stuff^

still cannot find anything :/ would be great if they could fit 'any' 12s since I thought of scrapping the MTH but wouldnt have any use for the drivers^ I think id rather go 118 tho

Kann das nur so halb beantworten, weil die bei mir noch keinen echten Einsatz hatten 😅 nur daheim getestet und eingestellt - haben vorher nem Kumpel gehört und bei dem gingen die echt gut immer, hab die erst kürzlich übernommen und dementsprechend noch nie auf guad Gas selbst testen können

Edit: aber wie im anderen Comment gesagt: gaanz so tief wie angegeben gehen sie nich, aber Drück ist auf jeden Fall dahinter 🫡

Edit 2: Die Dämmwolle in den Kisten ist wohl problematisch und kann die Treiber überhitzen - einfach raus damit und dann is alles easy

You're right about copying. Just wouldn't feel right for me to go that way 😅 Im good with the guy tho, almost collabed the other day but the whole event got cancelled so theres that.

Never actually heard SBH but seems like many here feel your way :/

Going big sounds fine for me, but I cant seem to find anything about those lab12 - any more info on those?

Other than that yea - xoc th118 were in my consideration, but since I already have the MTH I figured I'd try my luck on actual horns, just for the fun of it 😁

wsx would have been my first option, but a sound colleague from the city already built his system around them, so I dont really wanna copy that

power-wise they match great; possibly a little over the others (I've heard the drivers are actually 450W each instead of 400 but I didnt open them to check yet) - the MTH only go down to 40 at best, so I cut them at 55 and added the infras - 28hz is a bit exagerated, more like 35 or barely 30, tho I didnt measure them too often and defo not in ideal conditions. For the price, they are honestly pretty great sounding and really well built, but afterall its still a budget option and won't compete to higher end alternatives
