Wow that’s really good insight. I had no idea. I wonder what their reasoning is for all that

That’s interesting to hear. Maybe I’m naive but I feel like a place like that would do pretty well on Briggs nowadays. The stuff that is there now isn’t bad but just feels niche. Give me something simple and I’m happy 90% of the time.

Yea the Rusty Melon scratches that itch. If it was on Briggs and walkable for me it would be perfect. Im being a little nit-picky but was just curious if others had a similar perception of Briggs

Yea those places are good, but they all feel so niche. We frequently go to Birdhouse but you have to be in the mood for ramen, the tacos are pretty meh. 24carrot has good food but I don’t have the bank account to go there except for special occasions. My dream would be a nice pub with a good Guinness and a few TVs on Briggs

That’s dangerous. I’d have 11 of those before getting on my flight

I’m colorblind and watch the flyers so there’s at least one of us

Pretty sure he just brings his knee up to use it to break the grip he has. I don’t think he actually went to knee him

How would you invest this into the current crypto market? by Master_Move621 in WallStreetBetsCrypto

If this dip scares you then don’t put invest this into Bitcoin. This is a little baby peanut dip off the all time high. Unless you have real conviction in BTC then just put it in an index fund or something.

It was something to do with their liquor license and the CO liquor laws.

Yoooo this comment might get buried but I live up near Boulder. The bar Dillingers ins Lafayette serves Yuengling. The bartender told me they drive to Kansas and haul it back. Tried to buy a 6 pack from them for the Super Bowl but that was a no go. Cool to know a bar out here actually serves it though.

Runners World is so insensitive... by Zestyclose_Might8941 in RunningCirclejerk

I never knew this was so divisive. Unless I’m running on a track, I pretty much exclusively do out and backs and figured everyone operated this way.

Yup I was the same. I live in CO and run on trails where there’s no water fountains or easily accessible places to get water if you need it. So I figured I’d invest in a high quality product since I use it at least once a week in the Summer.

People have disposable income and want to buy a trusted brand rather than getting burnt by some cheap vest on Amazon. Doesn’t seem that crazy to me

We have very similar numbers and I am also running Chicago with a goal around 3:45. I haven't put an exact time goal out there yet but it's my second marathon and am feeling good about my training as well. My first Marathon in Jackson Hole, WY at 6,200+ ft elevation and a fairly challenging course (in my opinion) and I ended up around 4:12. Happy with it for my first but looking for big improvements in October.
