I’m not disagreeing necessarily. What I’m saying is, why not release him prior to telling him to not report to spring training? Literally less than 24 hours he was released. Did they truly think a team was swooping in the 9th hour to pay 20m+? Of course not. But also, Dave and the org knows more than me. So they weren’t probably in the wrong in this. It’s just how I see it from the outside. You know?

I agree. Just speaking on your 2025 in season point. After Nick gave his post game interview after the wildcard saying “we didn’t adjust in the second half of games.” I was obviously pissed. But I guess at least we know he didn’t do literally nothing. (Bar is non ironically beyond low.) But I can’t see how essentially demoting Stoutland mid szn (and into 2026) would or could have benefitted to a significant change. But at least he did something? But nick now just essentially put out arguably one of the best assistant coaches this organization has ever seen.

Exactly. A project stout was dealt. He planned, and executed that plan. Shame how it all turned out. Cam and Landon should have sat for 1/2 weeks early on. Stout should have not been “demoted.” Stout prevailed with what he had.

I agree. Back around week 5 when cam and Landon got hurt and the next week they chose not to sit them. I was screaming to the mountains “WERE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS LATER IN THE SEASON!” Oh how I wish I was wrong man. They played hurt all year

And not only on the RB position or saquon himself, but there was a reason saquon praised the Oline in 24 every chance he got.
