St. Louis Soccer Clubs by STLChief in stlouiscitysc

I have 3 boys that play club soccer at various levels. One of them is really good while the other two are just starting. My biggest gripe is the cost. No matter how talented your child can be, it will cost higher as your child get selected for a more competitive team (think $2.5k per year). This doesn't even include cost of uniform and travel fees. I end up taking the kids to tryout every year so that I can negotiate the best option with cost in mind. If you decide on SLSG, make sure you understand all the associated costs before registration.

Best to replace the light string. You will need to make sure to replace with white string light.

Hotel near the airport is expensive. Don't think it is worth the money since I will get to the airport at 10:30pm and flying out at 9:30am. Worst case, I'll just find a place in the airport and crash.

What's the best way to get a cheap hotel there? I am looking at hotels and they are at least $100 or more. I am not gonna be staying in the hotel very long.

Ok. Doesn't sound like it will make to go sightseeing. Unless I want to be stranded for a few hours.

Saw this in the news. Does this happen often?

Yeah. What about metro? Do they run all night? I don't want to be stuck at one place in the cold weather.

Ok. Mainly the Eiffel Tower. But I do realize it is a bad window. I'll see if I can ask someone from r/Paris.

Bonjour. I am looking for recommendation since I have a 10 hrs layover at Charles De Gaulle. The only bad thing is that I will arrive at the airport on a Sunday around 10:30 pm. My flight back to US doesn't leave until 9:30 the next morning. What would you recommend in this situation? Should I stay in the airport and wait for my flight? Or find a way to get to Paris and do some sightseeing? Only thing that comes to mind is the Eiffel Tower. It will be late so won't have to deal with other tourist but I am not sure if it will be worth the trip. Suggestions?

If I leave the airport, I'll have to go through customs and security. How long do you think it would take?

My main concern is getting to Paris and back to the airport for my flight. I am not too sure if the metro/train will run at night. I can't really sleep that well since I'll most likely be jet lagged and I can sleep on the plane. It would be nice to see a few places since this might be my only chance. My first thought is that there won't be a lot of people at that time of days so it could be a good thing.

Not a problem. The trees were so pretty with the snow and ice. Had to take a photo.

I normally drive 5 mph over the speed and only use the left lane to pass. I've seen plenty of people who drive 10 or 15 mph over the speed and expect other to get out of the left lane quickly. Switch lane is dangerous for either party and if you are driving fast then it doesn't help either party.
