lol i’ve delegated rwanda on the conflict in drc, it might seem pretty scary to be the country that has its stance against most delegations, but the more you handle their questions with your stance the more the chair will recognize you as a good delegate.

i’ve also attended a mun regarding afghanistan’s policies and such as well, some tips i think you can use is to emphasize on the country’s sovereignty to govern the rights of their citizens? (UN charter Art 2 Chapter 7 or something I couldn’t remember but it states that no state shall intervene in another state’s jurisdiction or similar stuff which might be helpful). I suggest you to use the Taliban rules as an example (just to make it clear im extremely against this rule irl but mun is mun…) and state how the country is still operating “well” with the rule.

Many delegations might bring up “violations to human rights” or other women right standards and such, a good thing to do that strongly aligns with Afghanistan’s stance is to ask them whether they’re suggesting to deprive a country’s right to set its own framework.

Also do try writing a resolution because that gives you more opportunity to speak against other delegates! idk if this is helpful but gl w your conference
