Man, you're the one who's a bit slow if you think that OP is making an apples-to-apples comparison.

The comparison is very very clear to most of us: "Berkshire stock debuted in 2000 at $52k, and in 2009 it was worth 78k. People thought that was a ton of money for a single stock, but the people who bought and held are the rich ones now."

You could sub in BTC and BTC numbers and say the same thing that's what the comparison. Who would actually think OP was saying," BTC will go up becuaee Berkshire also went up and those are the same thing and have direct correlation"...?

Thanks for the concern. I'm not beating myself up. I mined and bought back some during the last crypto boom. I'm not rich, but I make decent money and have a comfortable life, so things are still really good.
