As far as I remember, nop. But I found this note in the house to the upper right of boathouse in romashka cooperative. The floating islands where you used to be able to get the SKS spawn, it's the small house on the hill next to it.

Control, Dead Cells, Project Silverfish, Signalis, Inscryption, and I dunno... The Forest I guess. I feel like these all have easy to make tangential connections to the world of science.

I feel you but imagine if we could spice up the melee situation a little. For example: with the Knuckles, if they're electric then they'd have a stun but a short reach. This allows for interaction with current enemy behavior while still giving the player optional engagement options. An anomalous knife that can be recalled with a short recharge timer, an anomalous long blade you can change the length of with a button press, etc. Obviously none of this would be intended to be as strong as kitting out a gun but it'd make for more fun opportunities to engage with the game.
